Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-24.
We run a lean cookie stack. The only cookies we set ourselves are strictly necessary for functionality you have explicitly requested (signing in as a studio, remembering your compare shortlist). Analytics is cookieless (Umami). PayPal sets its own cookies when you use their checkout — those are governed by PayPal's cookie policy.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
fg_studio | Signed-in studio session (studio dashboard only) | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
Local storage (not cookies, but similar)
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
fg:compare | Your in-progress comparison shortlist | Until you clear it |
fg:cookie-ack | Dismissed cookie notice | Until you clear it |
Third-party cookies
PayPal sets cookies when you interact with their checkout or subscription-management flow — we do not control these. They handle payment processing; consent is collected on PayPal's own domains at point of interaction.
Cloudflare may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot management. This is essential for our security posture. Cloudflare does not use it for tracking or advertising.
How to decline
The fg_studio cookie is only set if you log in — don't log in and you won't get one. The fg:compare localStorage key is only created if you click + Compare — never use it and it's never created. Analytics is cookieless by design and requires no consent.
